- Attach the bag support strap through the small hole on the adaptor, ensuring it goes over the stud for a firm connection.
- Place the entire assembly inside the outer bag.
- Finally, close the zipper to secure the bag.

- Reinsert the brush roll back into the Power Nozzle.

- Lift and remove the waste tray from the MSSS and set it aside temporarily.
- When shampooing carpets, ensure the carpet brush roll is installed. If necessary, insert the baffle strip with the flat side facing towards the brush roll.
- Press the toe-touch control bottom pedal all the way down to elevate the front of the unit.
- With the front raised, connect the hooks located on the rear of the MSSS to the attaching bar on the unit.
- Push the MSSS firmly against the unit and turn the Accessory Lock clockwise to secure it in place.
- Rotate the nozzle belt lifter clockwise until the green arrows align, then lower the headlight hood.
- Finally, reinsert the waste tray into the MSSS.

- Next, remove the Waste Tray from the Multi-Surface Shampoo System (MSSS).
- To remove the carpet brush roll and install the Rotary Mop, turn the MSSS nozzle belt handle clockwise until the green arrows align.
- Flip the nozzle upside down and pull on the belt to loosen it, then remove the carpet brush roll.
- Detach the belt from the carpet brush roll and attach it to the Rotary Mop.
- Once the belt is secured on the Rotary Mop, reinsert it into the MSSS.
- Push up on the belt with your finger and turn the belt lifter handle counterclockwise until the red arrows align.
- Press the toe-touch pedal all the way down to raise the front of the unit.
- Attach the hooks on the back of the MSSS to the attaching bar on the unit.
- Push the MSSS against the unit, lock it in place by turning the Accessory Lock clockwise, and then turn the belt lifter clockwise until the green arrows align.
- Lower the headlight hood and reinstall the waste tray.

Install the Tile & Grout Brush Roll:
To convert your machine for cleaning tile and grout, please follow these instructions:
- Begin by removing the power nozzle (the head of the machine) and the outer bag. For detailed instructions, refer to page 22 of the owner’s manual.
- Remove the Waste Tray from the Multi-Surface Shampoo System (MSSS).
- Insert the Tile & Grout Brush Roll into the MSSS. Make sure the belt is properly placed on the brush roll.
- With the belt on the brush roll, reinsert it into the MSSS.
- Push up on the belt with your finger and turn the belt lifter handle counterclockwise until the red arrows align.
- Press the toe-touch pedal all the way down to raise the front of the unit.
- Attach the hooks on the back of the MSSS to the attaching bar on the unit.
- Push the MSSS against the unit and secure it by turning the Accessory Lock clockwise. Then, turn the belt lifter clockwise until the green arrows align.
- Lower the hood and reinstall the waste tray.

Convert to Air Pump (Inflater):
- Begin by removing the power nozzle, or front head of the vacuum. For guidance, refer to page 22 of the owner’s manual.
- Attach the air guard by placing its hooks over the attaching bar located at the front of the unit. Secure it by pushing the air guard against the unit and turning the accessory lock clockwise.
- Press the bag release button on the top of the outer bag and rotate the base of the bag away from the unit to remove it.
- Finally, connect the hose to the air exhaust port. Align the arrow on the hose with the arrow on the port and twist the hose clockwise until it locks into place.
Convert to Air Pump (Deflater):
The process for converting your vacuum to function as a deflater is the same as converting it to an inflator. Simply follow the instructions above to attach the hose to the exhaust port, allowing you to use your vacuum as a blower for deflating items.

- Squeeze the trigger on the sprayer to release the solution onto a newspaper, ensuring it operates correctly.
- Adjust the control on the trigger to modify the spray pattern as needed.

- Connect the hose to the air exhaust port. Align the arrow on the end of the hose with the arrow on the port and twist the hose clockwise until it locks.
- With the unit in blower mode and the hose attached, prepare the sprayer by unscrewing the jar and filling it three-quarters full with a non-flammable liquid.
- Attach the dip tube to the sprayer before screwing the jar back on.
- Attach the sprayer to the end of the hose.
- Hold the sprayer horizontally, turn the unit on, and squeeze the trigger to spray the solution onto a newspaper, verifying it functions properly.
- Adjust the spray pattern by turning the control on the trigger as needed.
This setup allows you to use your vacuum in blower mode with the portable sprayer for various spraying tasks.
Installing the Turbo Accessory:
The Turbo Accessory is a versatile tool that can be used for sanding, polishing, or scrubbing tasks with your vacuum unit. To install and use the Turbo Accessory, follow these steps:
- Start by assembling the turbo sander. Unsnap and lift off the sander dust shroud.
- Rotate the clamp levers upward on the sides of the turbo accessory.
- Slide a sheet of sandpaper into the front clamp and lock the lever securely.
- Wrap the sandpaper tightly around the bottom of the turbo accessory and tuck the end into the rear clamp. Secure it by locking the clamp.
- On a level surface, reattach the sander dust shroud, ensuring the opening is facing the back.
- Insert the hose into the designated port on the turbo accessory.
- Hold the turbo accessory securely at the top and bottom.
- Turn your Kirby vacuum on, followed by turning on the turbo accessory.
